All materials are organized by “issue”
PAST ISSUES
Find the icon for your issue either in the left sidebar or from “Your Materials” on the menubar.
Click on it and you’ll go to the table of contents for that issue. Formats have changed since we began. Early issues have several posts that can be read on the screen or be downloaded as pdfs. There is always a seminar pdf and then multiple articles written by the month’s teachers. Later issues have all of those materials in one pdf/ezine.
Each issue also includes several interview recordings with the guest teachers that you can view online or download.
Once you have an issue in your library you can come back and view it at any time.
CURRENT ISSUE
The materials for the current issue are published over the course of the month. The seminar comes out on the first Wednesday of the month and links for attending the interviews live are on the Table of Contents for the issue that day.
What is a webinar and how does it work?
A webinar is a live meeting that you attend from your computer. At “show time” you’ll be able to hear the presenters and see the layouts they share on your screen. You can type in questions and comments during the presentation and we’ll work them in. You can even attend from an ipad (but you can’t type in questions or comments on an ipad).
During the first week of each month, we’ll post links for registering for the webinars in the issue’s Table of Contents. Click on the link for any you want to attend and “register.” You’ll then get a reminder before the webinar. If you forget to register, you can still come even after the webinar has started–just click on the register link.
On the date and time of the webinar, click on the link in the reminder email you get from GoToWebinar to attend.
The first time you come to a webinar, it takes a few minutes to get the software installed on your computer so come early. Once the software is installed you’ll be in a “waiting room” that lets you know when the webinar will start.

- Log in here at Masterful Scrapbook Design
- In the right sidebar you’ll now see a welcome with 3 links that looks like this

- Click on “RSS Feed” (that is your own personal feed that links you up to your subscribed materials at MSD)
- Select the url on the next page by highlighting it (see image below with red arrow pointing to url). Press CTRL + C (CMD + C on mac) to copy it to memory.
- Open itunes
- At the top of the left sidebar in itunes in the “Library” category, click on “Podcasts”
- From the horizontal menu bar, select “Advanced” then “Subscribe to Podcast”
- A box asking for url will pop up — PASTE the url you just copied here with CTRL + V (CMD + V on mac)
- Press enter — and you’re good to to.
How can I download materials to my table/smart phone (with Dropbox)
1. Install Dropbox on your computer and on your tablet/smart phone
2. Download the seminar or video to your computer into a Dropbox folder. Be sure you have syncing enabled.
3. Open the Dropbox app on your device, navigate to the folder with the materials you want to view, and open them.
How can I download materials to my tablet/smart phone (if you don’t want to use Dropbox)
We recommend using Goodreader to download videos (including zipped files) to tablet/smart phone:
1. Launch Goodreader
2. In the right column, open up the “Web Downloads” section by clicking on the arrow next to it. Select “Browse the Web” then enter http://masterfulscrapbookdesign.com
3. Log in at Masterful Scrapbook Design and navigate to the page with the link (every time you click on a link you will be asked if you want to “follow the link” or “download.”) — Follow until you get to the one you want to download.
4. Click on the link you wish to download and choose “download”
5. Click on the button at top left — you’ll see the download in progress in the right column — when it’s done downloading, it will be listed in the left column.
6. To view, click on it — if it’s zipped you’ll be prompted to unzip. NOW the unzipped file will be in the left column along with the zipped file.
7. To delete the zipped file, “swipe” the filename from left to right and then press the delete button
8. To get the unzipped file organized (and out of the downloads folder): Open up the “Manage Files” section in the right column by pressing on the arrow next to it. Navigate to and select your folder/file to be organized in the left column. Click on “manage files” button in the box in the right column. Click on the circle next to your file then click on move and select a place to move it to.
How much am I paying and when am I paying it?
To see this information:
- Log in to Paypal.com and then click on “Profile”
- At the next screen, click on “My money”
- Then “My preapproved payments” (update)
- You’ll see a list of any payments you’ve scheduled. Find “Deborah Hodge” in the list and click.
- You’ll now see subscription details including a column labeled “amount due each cycle” (this is how much you pay each month) and a column labeled “amount received” that tells you how much you’ve paid in total over the entire course of your subscription.
- You’ll see a label “Next Payment Due” which tells you the next time you’ll pay your monthly subscription.
Will I have permanent access to materials if I cancel my subscription?
How do I know what I have in my account archive right now?
- Log in at MasterfulScrapbookDesign.com.
- Click on “Your Materials”
- See an icon for each issue you own.
How can I cancel my subscription?
You are responsible for cancelling via your Paypal account. Understand that cancellation is effective immediately and there are no refunds for partial months. As soon as you cancel, the current month’s materials disappear from your account.
- Log in to Paypal.com and then click on “Profile”
- At the next screen, click on “My money”
- Then “My preapproved payments” (update)
- You’ll see a list of any payments you’ve scheduled. Find “Deborah Hodge” in the list and click.
- Click on underlined link “Cancel” at top left of next screen.
