Debbie Hodge makes several trips a year to her parents’ upstate New York home with her sons, and leaving usually looks a lot like this: bags staged in the hall, loaded into the van in the morning, her husband hugging them goodbye in his bathrobe, and then a quick stop for breakfast.
Most of the story is told by the photos–detail shots surrounding a central photo of the van loaded. Short journaling shares specifics of how things are right now.
