THEME CRAFTED| Would She Laugh? by Betsy Sammarco

Choose your motifs and materials to represent your story and its era on a theme-crafted page.

Betsy Sammarco tells a story of her great grandmother and of herself here. Her great grandmother lived on a farm and, in the photo, spreads food for a gaggle of geese. Betsy, herself raises ducks, but in a sheltered way she thinks would amuse the woman in the photo.

Betsy looks for embellishments with meaning. The milk cap embellishment has “Chester” on it which is the name of the town she’s from. The feather represents the birds, and the vintage gold foil is a good companion to a vintage photo. The trim here belonged to Betsy’s grandmother.
