Doris Sander made a layered and pretty concoction of this page that, surprisingly, starts with a grid. Doris says, ” I layered a two-by-two grid in the background and then a staggered grid over it. The tone-on-tone papers give it a cohesive look, while the varying patterns add subtle visual interest.”
“The hearts and twine enhance the closeness of the two girls, while the hearts and flowers give it a soft feminine edge. I layered circular elements around the edges and in the foreground to soften the hard edges that are inherent when working with grids.”
