TITLE RENDERING | Count by Emily Pitts

Titlework in a shape plus hand-stitched letters.

Emily Pitts’ design is a honeycomb of tall hexagons, with the photo cut to fill one and the titlework sized to fill another. This is akin to filling a compartment in a blocked design–but jazzier.

Emily combined small alpha block stickers with stitching. She says, “I wrote out the words in a very light pencil, then pre-punched stitching holes with a needle. I love the contrast of the blocky stickers with the tall stitched letters as well as the texture the stitching adds.”
