Emphasize one word in the journaling.
Pluck a simple label from the journaling to serve as your title and then emphasize it visually.
That’s what Dina Wakley did on “Italy.” As she did this work, she finagled her written journaling so that her title word was on the first line and centered horizontally–and added with black letter stickers. This choice drove the rest of the design with additional symmetrical touches including a centered sunburst rising from behind her centered and tilted photos. Even the die-cut foundational piece has centered elements.
