Title your page from the journaling.
Look to your journaling for title ideas. Emily Pitts’ page takes its title from a repeated phrase is her story-styled journaling. Another approach is to start or end your journaling with text that would double as a strong title.
Of this page, Emily says, “This is the story of how my husband proposed to me. We were poor college students and had already decided to get married and gone ring shopping, but had to wait for the rings to be officially engaged. My husband had gone to pick them up (I didn’t know this) and this is how he asked me to be his wife. I set this up as a little story, with repetition of the phrase, Being that she was his sweetheart… to add a bit of playfulness to the narrative–and then used that as title.”
“I used a grungy rub-on alphas for my title because I like how it contrasts with the vintage flowers. Use this alpha made it easy to do surgery and create an extra “H” and “T” for my very long title. I like how the open font is bold but not overpowering. It’s a long title, but the story still takes center stage.”
