TITLE FUNCTION | Breathe by Kim Watson

Use a title to set tone or mood

Kim Watson says, ” This layout is about stopping, putting the brakes on busy lifestyles and taking a deep breath–remembering to look around at beauty racing past the window of our ever crazy lives.”

Her title evokes a sense of a big, relaxing breath for several reasons. The single, oversized word spans much of the page height. The font is a clean sans serif. There is generous space between the letters. The all-caps rendering represents height and connects to deep breaths. The color is a cool and relaxing aqua.
