Organic clusters.
Anna Aspnes’ clusters have an organic shape as a result of the digital clipping masks she uses. She “clips” a photo to a mask and layers title and digital transfers over that. She says, “I love how the blending mode usage heightens the light in the collage and softens the image as the underlying background shows through. A simple photo is turned into a work of art through one simple technique.”
