Use vintage florals.
The base of Erin Bassett’s “Old Girl” is a two-tone vintage floral print (lighter tan flowers entwine on a darker brown ground). The vintage styling is a good match with her title and the idea of endurance.
Photos are matted on a kraft background that matches the floral print and the stamping on it matches the pattern ground–thus she’s repeated the pattern tones but in reverse.
The only color on the page comes from the bits of blue in her embellishments.
