INCIDENT | It’s A Meatball by Emily Pitts

The incident scrapbooker records the family’s favorite stories even when they happened years ago.

Emily Pitts used a childhood photo of her son to scrapbook an incident that happened over 10 years ago and that still endures as a favorite for her family. After lunch at Ikea one day, she noticed a protrusion in her son’s cheek. Asked what it was, their little planner said, “It’s a meatball.”

The story resonates for her family because her son loves food and he is a kid who is known for his penchant for planning.
