Blocked.
Tami Taylor loves using a block composition when she nears the end of a kit, because she can use up all the scrap bits of paper. It’s a great design for a single photo because, once you place the photo, you can patchwork out from it.
Her favorite approaches to this design are: cutting the blocks with scissors to avoid straight graphic-looking lines, making the blocks different sizes, and adding dimension by rolling block edges.
