Mix florals with geometrics.
Florals will mix with any motif when you pay attention to color, scale, and density. Geometrics are an especially great mixer.
On this “guy” page of her brother and nephew, Debbie Hodge used three floral prints in different sizes, colors, and densities. The biggest blocks of patterned paper are the geometric blue polka-dots, and they unite all of the prints and help florals tell a guy’s story.
