TITLE DESIGN | Party by Debbie Hodge

Titlework-inspired repetitions.

Smart use of repetitions gives a page unity and, quite often, flow, as the eye jumps from one element to a repetition and then another repetition. Designers frequently repeat color, shape, motif, texture or pattern.

Debbie Hodge’s “Party” title is rendered with a script font and a white “sticker” border. Its curves, color, and and styling are repeated in a loopy border in the lower photo cluster, uniting the two groupings visually.
