TITLE RENDERING | Birds of a Feather by Noell Hyman

Substitute an image for a word in the title.

Noell Hyman’s page is about all she has in common with her husband and the story is told with the title “Birds of a Feather.” When you use such a known phrase for your title, you can substitute an image for one of the words and the viewer will easily make the substitution and connections.

Noell says, “I stamped and hand-cut the birds in two colors to represent my husband and myself.” Notice the gold glitter used to number Noell’s list-style journaling and how the series leads to the larger gold-glittered alphas spelling “feather.”
