As a single girl, Kelly Purkey often gets asked what she scrapbooks about. To insure she always has a good answer to this question, Kelly enjoys filling up her life with wonderful friends, amazing adventures and travels, life in the big city, and lots of delicious food. All of which create excellent photo opportunities for her to scrap.
Kelly lives on the island of Manhattan in New York City, which is a dream come true for her. She works from home as a product designer and education manager for Studio Calico, but is often flying around the country to teach classes or dip her toes in the ocean. Kelly has worked as a product designer at American Crafts, was a member of the 2008 & 2009 Creating Keepsakes Dream team, has contributed to a variety of publications, and is an instructor at Creating Keepsakes Conventions.
Kelly loves photobooths, the Brooklyn Bridge, art museums, stamps in her passport, and impromptu dance parties. You can get to know her better through her blog, “It’s Me, KP” at http://kellypurkey.typepad.com/ or follow her on Twitter where she is @kellypurkey .
